Two car crash - Daw Park, South Australia

Motorists are advised northbound traffic on Goodwood Road has been diverted following a two car crash at Daw Park this morning .

Just before 6.15am on Tuesday 23 February, a police patrol spotted a black Commodore sedan speeding north on Goodwood Road and activated their emergency lights. Moments later the Commodore collided with a white Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Goodwood Road and Dudley Street.

The driver of the Corolla sustained non life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment. While a passenger in the Commodore has been taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a stable condition.

The male driver of the Commodore fled the scene on foot shortly after the crash. Patrols searched the area but the male wasn't located.

Northbound traffic on Goodwood Road is being diverted either up east up Springbank Road or west down Daws Road.

South bound traffic on Goodwood Road is unaffected, please avoid the area if possible.

Police are investigating with Major Crash Investigators are attending the scene to assist.
