Two critical following crash in Goulburn

Two people remain in a critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Goulburn yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 2.40pm today, a blue MG sedan and a white Nissan Pulsar were both travelling in a northerly direction along the Hume Highway.

At the intersection of Towrang Road the two vehicles collided.

The driver and passenger of the MG, a 66-year-old man and an 87-year-old woman respectively, were taken to Canberra Hospital where they remain in a critical condition.

The driver of the Nissan, a 29-year-old woman, was uninjured and taken to Goulburn Hospital as a precaution and for mandatory testing.

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances leading up to the incident.

Witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are urged to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers.
