Two people have died after a car veered off the Western Ring Road at Altona North last night, Victoria Police say.
It is understood the car was travelling southbound, near the Geelong-bound Princes Freeway off-ramp, when it went off the road and into water about 8.45pm.
Two males, who are yet to be formally identified, where discovered deceased inside the vehicle when it was pulled from the water.
The investigation into the cause of the incident is ongoing.
