Two Injured After Armed Home Invasion - Kingswood

Two residents have been injured following an armed home invasion in Sydney's west this morning.

About 5.10am (Monday 12 January 2026), emergency services were called to a home on Stafford Street, Kingswood, following reports of a home invasion.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command arrived and were told two masked men had broken into the home before threatening the residents with a firearm and assaulting them with a chair.

Following the assault the men left the scene on foot.

Both residents – a 53-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man – were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor head injuries but did not require further treatment.

Police have established a crime scene and Nepean detectives have commenced an investigation into the incident.
