Two injured in single-vehicle crash at Penrith, NSW

Two men have been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Mulgoa Road in Penrith about 9.15pm (Saturday 14 July 2018), after a Nissan Sylvia left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver, an 18-year-old man, wasn’t injured.

The two passengers were trapped in the vehicle for approximately two hours before being extricated.

The men, both aged 18, were taken to Westmead Hospital with minor injuries.

Officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

They’re appealing for anyone who witnessed it, or the events leading up to it, to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
