Two Pedestrians Injured After Hit-run In Fairfield

Greensborough Highway Patrol officers are investigating after a man and woman were struck by a car in a hit-run collision in Fairfield on Saturday evening.

Emergency services responded to reports a black Audi struck the pedestrians near the intersection of

Station and Separation streets on 13 June about 5.20pm.

The 66-year-old man and 59-year-old woman, both from Gladstone Park, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle fled the scene following the incident.

Police are continuing to search for the black vehicle and are appealing for anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision to check their dashcam footage.
