Two teenage boys have died following a crash between a bus and motorbike in Sydney's west this evening.
About 7.10pm (Monday 23 March 2026), emergency services were called to the Liverpool Parramatta T-way, near Restwell Road, Bossley Park, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and found that a petrol trail bike had collided with the side of a commuter bus before becoming trapped underneath the vehicle.
The rider – a 15-year-old boy – and the pillion passenger – a 14-year-old boy – were both treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, they both died at the scene.
The bus driver – a 48-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
The passengers onboard at the time were also uninjured.
Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command established a crime scene and an investigation has commenced with the assistance of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
