The British Embassy will take part in the observation of Honduras' general elections scheduled for 30 November 2025.
Acting under an invitation from the National Electoral Council (CNE), the British Embassy in Guatemala-also accredited to Honduras-will join the international observer mission.
Our role will encompass monitoring key stages of the electoral process, including preparations, voting, counting, and the announcement of results, as well as assessing the overall electoral environment. Observers will evaluate whether the elections adhere to Honduras' legal framework and align with international standards and best practices.
Through this participation, the United Kingdom underscores its steadfast commitment to democratic values and reaffirms the importance of free, fair, transparent, and secure elections in Honduras.
