The present consolidated report of the Secretary-General and the High Commissioner for Human Rights contains an analysis of the realization of the right to development and challenges in the context of the response to and the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The report also provides an overview of the activities of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights from June 2022 to May 2023 on the promotion and realization of the right to development.
