University of Liverpool led public events cancelled/postponed

The University is closely monitoring national and international developments in relation to COVID-19 and taking actions as appropriate. As a result, a decision has been made to cancel or postpone all University led public events until the end of April 2020.

Professor Gavin Brown, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, said: “While we realise that the cancellation and postponement of events will cause some inconvenience and disappointment, the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and visitors is our highest priority.

“Our University community is working hard to prepare for the possible spread of the virus and is providing up-to-date information, advice and offers of support to all our students and staff as the situation develops.

“Any disappointment felt by this decision is entirely understandable but we truly believe this is the best decision for our staff, students and visitors.”
