Unlawful entry in Darwin City

Northern Territory Police have apprehended four male youths in relation to an unlawful entry in Darwin City yesterday.

At around 5pm, police received reports that a commercial business on the Esplanade had been unlawfully entered and minor damage caused.

The youths, aged between 11 and 14, were apprehended by police a short time later and returned to the care of responsible adults.

All four will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 2005.

Acting Superintendent Mark Bland said, "Police CCTV operators were vital in providing accurate information in relation to this incident and we were able to locate the alleged offenders quickly."
