Unlawful wounding at Beerwah

Police are investigating after a man sustained multiple knife wounds in Beerwah last night.

Police and emergency services were called to a Karumba Place residence just after 6.30pm following reports of a disturbance between three people outside a home.

A 38-year-old man sustained non-life threatening wounds to his neck, arms and hands and was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

A 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, who police believe were known to the victim, then fled the scene in a white Holden utility.

Police calling on anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV, to contact police.
