UNSC Holds 10194th Meeting on Yemen Crisis

At 10 a.m., the Council will vote on a draft resolution extending the monthly reporting requirement for the Secretary-General on attacks by the Houthis in Yemen on merchant and commercial vessels in the Red Sea.

The text extends the reporting obligation - established by resolution 2722 (2024) and last renewed through resolution 2812 (2026) - for another six months, until 15 January 2027.
