Come and experience some live music and the Up Armidale Road feature film, when it screens at the Willawarrin Hall on Sunday 10 April.

The film, which is touring to communities impacted by bushfires, features the village of Nymboida which was decimated by bushfires on 8 November 2019, with two thirds of its residents left homeless.

With more than 25 interviews captured on camera, a mix of cattle farmers, creatives, workers and traditional landowners share their stories of survival and the struggle to recover and rebuild.

During the film residents embark with musicians Grace and Hugh on a musical collaboration to bring the song 'Up Armidale Rd' to life.

At the free Willawarrin screening, the Willawarrin RFS will be cooking up a storm with dinner available for purchase from 5:30pm.

The film will be screened at 6:30pm, followed by a short intermission where you can grab a cup of tea or coffee and something sweet. All proceeds will go to the Upper Macleay Pre-School. During the intermission, Grace and Hugh will entertain the audience with a live music performance.
