Bayside Local - Workshop with Jan Rizzo

Join Bayside Local artist, Jan Rizzo, for this exploratory workshop where you will experiment with different drawing materials and overlays to create your very own zig zag book.

Bayside Local - Who Are the Artists in Your Neighbourhood?

Do you know your creative Bayside neighbours?

Artists featuring in the 'Bayside Local' exhibition will be joining us for an informal panel conversation at Bayside Gallery. You can view the exhibition and find out what it's like to be an artist in Bayside. Facilitated by Bayside Gallery Curator Joanna Bosse, come along and hear from Kate Sellars-Jones, Mark Forbes, Vivi Palegeorge and Catherine Pickop.

Bayside Local - Open Studio with Catherine Pickop at Billilla Historic Mansion

Billilla Artist in Residence and current Bayside Local Artist, Catherine Pickop invites you to come and see her studio at the beautiful Billilla Historic Mansion. Space will be limited, so take this chance to also enjoy the gardens at Billilla if you need to wait for entry.

Shakespeare in the Gardens - Romeo and Juliet

Want to plan a special Valentine's outing? Join us for the Shakespeare classic, Romeo and Juliet, which gets a modern twist in this unforgettable evening of free outdoor theatre in the Brighton Library Gardens.

Performed by renowned Melbourne-based theatre company Essential Theatre, known for Shakespeare in the Vines, a national tour of Shakespeare's classics to wineries and gardens.

Pack your picnic rugs, bring some food and wine and get ready to enjoy this classic Shakespearean drama in the historic setting of the Brighton Cultural Precinct.
