Kempsey Shire Council is replacing Frogmore Bridge on Old Station Road as part of the bridge replacement program.

To carry out this work Old Station Road will be closed at Frogmore Drain Bridge

There is no detour available during this time and the road will be closed at this location. As this is a school bus route, the project has been timed to coincide with the school holidays.

Replacing Frogmore Bridge will help the drivers who use Old Station Road travel safely and comfortably.

The works are scheduled to start on Monday 9 January 2023 and should be completed on Wednesday 25 January 2023, weather permitting.

Variable Message Boards will be placed at the Verges Creek Road intersection and Old Station Road and South West Rocks Road intersection advising of the road closure.

Please follow traffic signs and drive to the conditions.

Council has secured $20.5 million in funding for the project from the NSW Government's Fixing Country Bridges program.
