Update: Aggravated Robbery Charges in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged multiple offenders after aggravated robberies in Alice Springs over the weekend.

The 3 male and one female alleged offenders involved in an aggravated robbery on Lovegrove Drive have now been charged with offences including aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault and theft. All 4 have been remanded to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 8 and 9 May 2024.

Detectives have also been investigating a similar aggravated burglary incident that occurred just prior at a residence on Cromwell Drive, allegedly involving the same group of 3 male offenders. A 22-year-old man has been charged for this incident with:

  • Aggravated Burglary
  • Driving, Using, Riding Motor Vehicle without Consent
  • Damage to property
  • Theft
  • Obtain financial advantage by deception

He has been remanded to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court on 8 May 2024.

Investigations into both incidents remain ongoing and police are continuing to urge anyone with information to make contact on 131 444.
