Update: Fatal Brendale Car-Pedestrian Collision

A man has died from injuries sustained in a traffic crash at Brendale yesterday, September 22.

A Hyundai i30 was reversing at a Demarco Court property just before 11am when the vehicle struck a pedestrian before travelling across the road and colliding with a fence.

The 86-year-old male pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he died last night.

The driver, an 81-year-old Brendale woman, was treated for minor injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
