Police are now in a position to release the name of the man who died in a fire at a residential property on Copinsha Street on Monday, 18 July.
He was Glen Allan Newell, 53, of Palmerston.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
An investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing.
