Update regarding last sighting of Vicki Ramadan - Sydenham homicide investigation

Homicide Squad detectives investigating the murder of Vicki Ramadan have now discounted the last reported sighting of Vicki on Gourlay Road, Hillside.

Further enquiries have led investigators to believe Vicki had not been seen since sometime in March and are appealing for anyone who may have seen Vicki at any time in March or April to come forward.

The 77-year-old woman's body was discovered by a neighbour inside her Marlborough Way home on Saturday 6 April about 9.45am.

It's believed she was brutally assaulted in her home.

Detectives are again reiterating Vicki was often seen walking to locations and was known to use public transport, in particular buses and taxis. It was also not uncommon for Vicki to frequent the Watergardens shopping centre and it's believed she was well known by local traders.
