Today, Administrator Power spoke with Micheál Martin, Tánaiste of the Republic of Ireland. They discussed the continuing importance of the U.S.-Ireland relationship, especially with the significant assistance Ireland has provided to combat food insecurity and child-wasting worldwide.
The Administrator and Tánaiste Martin discussed ways to bolster USAID and Irish Aid's collaboration on food resiliency in Africa and discussed potential areas for collaboration to support the agricultural sector in Ukraine to enable Ukraine to continue feeding the word.
