Vacancy notice: project assistant, hydrological systems and water scarcity

UNESCO's International Hydrological Programme is looking for a project assistant to contribute to three projects:

  • Addressing Water Security: Climate Impacts and Adaptation Responses in Africa, Asia and LAC;
  • Enhancing Climate Services for Improved Water Resources Management in Vulnerable Regions to Climate Change: Case studies from Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean, CLIMWAR;
  • Strengthening FUST impact by outreach on successful water security tools.

Tasks include finalizing reports and coordinating their production, assisting in the organization of events, including technical workshops, symposia and conferences, and participating in the production of exhibitions and outreach.

Applicants must have a master's degree in a field of natural sciences, earth sciences or international development studies. The duration of the contract is 4 months.
