The City of Ryde is aware of community concerns regarding the condition of a mature Eucalyptus saligna tree located at 113A Coxs Road, North Ryde.
Council Officers inspected the site on 31 March 2026 and confirmed that the tree has been subject to vandalism. An investigation is now underway, and further inspections have since been carried out as part of this process.
The tree is located on privately owned land whilst this limits the actions Council can take on the site itself, our Tree Management team is continuing to monitor the tree's condition and is engaging with residents who have contacted Council.
We would like to remind the community that tree vandalism is a serious offence and Council will pursue enforcement action where evidence allows.
