Police are appealing for information following a stolen vehicle fire and break and enter at Townsville City and Belgian Gardens early this morning, 12 May.
About 4.05am, police were called to a business on Bundock Street, Belgian Gardens following reports a grey Nissan Navara had struck a roller door before unknown suspects have gained entry to the business.
A quantity of cigarettes, cash and other items were stolen from the business before the unknown suspects have fled the scene in the Nissan and a silver Hyundai Tucson.
About 5am, police and emergency services were called to Entertainment Drive, Townsville City following reports the grey Nissan Navara was on fire.
Upon arrival the Nissan was fully engulfed however was extinguished a short time later.
No one was injured in either incident.
The Nissan was reported stolen from a Wakeboard Circuit, Kelso home between 10.30pm on Sunday, 10 May and 6.15am on Monday, 11 May.
The Hyundai was reported stolen from a Pepperwood Street, Deeragun overnight and remains outstanding.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have information regarding the two vehicles to come forward.
Investigations remain ongoing.
