Victoria have named the Vic Metro and Vic Country squads for the upcoming CA Under 19 National Championships to be held in South Australia, starting in December.

The 2022 National championships will be held in Adelaide between December 14 and 22.

Players have been selected through strong performances in Victorian pathway programs and in Victorian Premier Cricket last season.

"It has been great to see all players in the U19 Emerging Program work hard to continually improve through the pre-season phase of the Emerging program," Cricket Victoria's Male Emerging Player Performance Manager, Tom Evans said.

"We have some very exciting players coming through the Victorian system and I look forward to seeing all players who have been involved in the program make a big impact at their Premier clubs this season.

"I'm sure the selected Victorian U19 teams will showcase their skills and compete hard for Victoria at the National Championships come December."

The squads will be coached by an esteemed group of current and former players including Tilan Samaraweera, Travis Dean, Nick Speak and Xavier Crone.
