Victoria Names Second XI Squad For Clash With Tasmania

Victoria has confirmed its Second XI squad for the upcoming four-day match against Tasmania at Casey Fields, beginning October 20.

The fixture will feature a number of moving parts due to Victoria's One Day Cup match against New South Wales at the CitiPower Centre on Monday, with several players to rotate through across the four days.

Harry Hoekstra and Archie Lalor will feature in the opening two days before being replaced by Blake Crone and Campbell Elliott for the latter stages of the match. Tom Rogers is also set to join the side on Day 2, while Austin Anlezark (Days 3-4) and David Moody (Days 1-2) will share bowling duties across the fixture. Jackson Smith (Northcote) rounds out the attack and will play all four days.

The match provides another valuable opportunity for Victoria's emerging talent to showcase their skills against strong opposition, as part of the state's ongoing player development pathway.
