Vote on New Ron Andrews Park Play Equipment Design

We're refreshing the combination play equipment at Ron Andrews Park and inviting the community to help choose their preferred design.

Located in Pakenham, Ron Andrews Park honours Ron (Mick) Andrews, a respected local community member and founder of the Andrews Foundation. The park features a wetland with a circuit path, shelter, barbecue facilities, picnic tables, seating and a playground.

Guided by the Cardinia Shire 2023 Open Space Strategy and Playspace Strategy 2014, this renewal project will enhance the safety, accessibility and improve drainage within the playground. The project also includes the replacement of the timber playground combination equipment.

We have three exciting design options to renew the timber combination play equipment to present to the community, each selected to suit the park's classification and character, while offering fun, inclusive and engaging play opportunities for children.

Community members are invited to select their favourite playground design option via a short survey on Creating Cardinia. This consultation opportunity is open until Monday 24 November.

Your feedback will help shape the final design, ensuring the renewed play equipment reflects what the community values most.
