The McGowan Government has welcomed the return of Jetstar Asia to Western Australia with the resumption of its Singapore to Perth service.
The new service, which arrives in Perth tonight, will operate between Singapore and Perth four times a week.
It is Jetstar Asia's third Australian destination on its network direct from Singapore.
The last time the airline had a direct service with Perth was four years ago.
Singapore remains one of the McGowan Government's critical markets, ranking second in visitation and spend, with over 107,000 visitors coming to WA in 2019 pre-COVID-19.
There are now three airlines flying direct to Perth, including Singapore Airlines and Scoot.
As stated by Tourism Minister Roger Cook:
"The McGowan Government welcomes the return of the Singapore to Perth Jetstar service, another key route reconnecting Western Australia with the world.
"We're excited to see visitors from Singapore return to our shores and the many thousands who transit through Changi Airport.
"The resumption of this service shows that travellers want to return to WA and we're ready to welcome them back to explore our beautiful State.
"Western Australia is open for business and open for tourism."
