The WA Police Academy in Joondalup is opening the doors again this Saturday to host the 2022 Police Careers Expo.
This free family event is open to all ages, but is particularly targeted to those considering a career in the WA Police Force.
The public is warmly invited to visit the Police Academy, meet police officers and staff, and take the opportunity to ask questions about the application process, training and future career options.
The Expo will include displays from a range of portfolios and specialist units, showcasing the latest policing equipment and vehicles, including motorcycles, cars and the Tactical Response Group BEARCAT.
Live demonstrations include:
• Physical Performance Evaluation
• Bomb Squad robot
• Police Air Wing drone capability
• High Risk Vehicle Stop
• Q&A sessions with officers
There will be photo opportunities with the popular Air Wing, Canine and Mounted sections, sausage sizzles, and plenty more to see and do.
The 2022 Police Careers Expo runs from 10am to 2pm this Saturday, 15 October at the WA Police Academy, Lakeside Drive Joondalup.
