WACA Unveils Name for New Aquatic and Health Center

The WACA redevelopment took another step forward today with the announcement of the operator of the new state-of-the-art Aquatic and Health Centre within the historic home of WA cricket.

The new facility will be managed by BlueFit, one of Australia's leading operators of premium health clubs and aquatic centres, providing exceptional fitness and wellness services for the community at a one-of-a-kind venue overlooking the WACA Ground.

Paying homage to WA Cricket's rich heritage, the venue will be named 'The Pavilion', and will offer patrons the unique experience of watching live sport from a 50-metre pool, as well as gym, fitness studios, and wellness spaces that cater for all ages and abilities.

The City has committed $25 million to the aquatic and health facility under the Perth City Deal partnership between the Australian and WA Governments, and the City of Perth, and in partnership with WA Cricket and Cricket Australia.

The Pavilion is on track to be open in time for summer.
