There will be changed traffic conditions at the corner of King William Drive and King Street in Wallan during February as works continue on the Taylors Creek Reserve Activation.
Traffic management is expected to be required from Monday 4 February to Friday 20 February, with the road reduced to one lane.
Drivers should allow extra travel time and follow instructions from traffic controllers. Access to homes, businesses and surrounding streets will be maintained during the works, though short delays may occur.
Once complete, the Taylors Creek Reserve Activation will improve pedestrian access and connectivity in Wallan through the delivery of two new concrete shared user paths:
- From King Street along King William Drive to the entrance of Taylors Creek, including two raised pedestrian crossings
- From Watson Street to Taylors Lane along the west side of Taylors Creek, including raised pedestrian crossings at Watson Street and Almond Avenue
Council thanks the community for its patience and encourages drivers to follow all signage and directions while works are underway.
