Wanted man charged, NSW

A man wanted on a warrant has been arrested and charged on the state’s South Coast yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 8pm yesterday, the owner of a Toyota Landcruiser heard it being driven from the car park of a club on Ruth Place, Dalmeny.

The owner and other relatives saw the vehicle stopped nearby and detained a man.

Officers from Far South Coast Local Area Command attended and arrested the 41-year-old man.

He was taken to Batemans Bay Police Station and charged with the three counts of disqualified driver, drive manner dangerous, two counts of take and drive conveyance, other traffic offences, and the outstanding warrant.

He was refused bail and will appear at Narooma Local Court today.
