Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced today that the president has made the following nominations:
Space Force Lt. Gen. David N. Miller, for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as commander, U.S. Space Command, Peterson SFB, Colorado. Miller is currently serving as deputy chief of Space Operations for Strategy, Plans, Programs, and Requirements, Headquarters, U.S. Space Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Matthew F. Blue for appointment to the grade of major general with assignment as deputy judge advocate general of the Air Force, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Blue is currently serving as assistant adjutant general, Headquarters D.C. National Guard, Washington, D.C.
Army Brig. Gen. Roger S. Giraud for appointment to the grade of major general. Giraud is currently serving as deputy surgeon general, Office of the Surgeon General, U.S. Army/deputy commanding general (Operations), U.S. Army Medical Command/chief of the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Army Brig. Gen. Louis L. Mitchell for appointment to the grade of major general. Mitchell is currently serving as commander, 416th Engineer Command, Darien, Illinois.
Army Brig. Gen. Christine Rummel for appointment to the grade of major general. Rummel is currently serving as director, Strategic Operations, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Army Col. James J. Jones for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Jones is currently serving as director, White House Medical Unit, Presidential Support Detachment, Washington, D.C.
