This season, the Arts Centre has welcomed a new wave of volunteers following an overwhelming response from more than a hundred applicants, highlighting the popularity of the programme.
With a strong volunteer cohort already in place, the team plays a vital role in ensuring every performance, exhibition, and event runs smoothly. From students checking tickets to community members welcoming visitors and guiding audiences, volunteers are at the heart of the Arts Centre experience.
Therese, who began volunteering as a steward in December 2022, said: "I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and love the performing arts, so volunteering as a steward was a no-brainer. It has opened the door to performances I might never have experienced otherwise, and has been a joyful and enriching way to deepen my appreciation for the arts."
"Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do," says Arrin Lewis, Volunteer Coordinator. "They bring warmth, passion, and care to every event. Volunteering here gives people the chance to make new friends, try something new, and become a valuable part of bringing our programme to life. Our team thrives on difference, and it has been fantastic to see more people getting involved in the past few months."
From welcoming children at Christmas shows to guiding audiences through concerts, theatre, and cinema, volunteers bring the Arts Centre to life. Their energy, commitment, and passion help create unforgettable shared experiences and ensure that every visit is full of creativity, connection, and enjoyment.
Volunteering at Warwick Arts Centre is in high demand. Although all current roles are filled, keep an eye on the website for future opportunities to join this exciting and inspiring team.
