As a member of Cluster V-which includes the UK's largest and most research-intensive universities-Warwick's performance reflects its commitment to excellence across a broad spectrum of knowledge exchange activities.
Reflecting on the strong performance, Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Warwick, said:
"Outstanding community engagement and deep business partnerships are part of what defines the University of Warwick. We work proudly across public and private sectors to advance cutting-edge research so that, together, we can make a better world.
"Warwick was founded sixty years ago as a university that not only leads in academic research and teaching, but also actively contributes to society, industry, and the economy - and I'm proud that we continue in that bold spirit today."
The KEF 5 results reinforce Warwick's strategic vision to foster world-class research, transformative teaching, and bold partnerships with global impact.
The Warwick Institute of Engagement is tasked with fostering curiosity, creativity, and collaboration far beyond the campus boundaries because we know that learning is a two-way conversation. The Institute's Resonate programme provides a year-round series of events where ideas are explored together between Warwick staff, students, and our local community. It also funds collaborations with local, national and international communities, seeking opportunities to involve the public in Warwick research.
