The Warm Water Pool temperature in the indoor pool complex at the Goulburn Aquatic and Leisure Centre has been affected by a malfunction with the boilers. A 31-degree Celsius temperature is being recorded; this is four degrees below the normal operating temperature.

The two other indoor pools are operating two degrees below normal operating temperatures.

The issues are being addressed by technicians, and Council will provide an update as soon as possible.

Due to the unforeseen plant failure, the Outdoor Pool will be close to the public until the afternoon of Wednesday 8 February 2023. The following changes to operating times will also come into effect tomorrow, Wednesday 8 February 2023:

• The 25m Pool will close between 10am to 2.30pm, for a major swimming carnival

• The Program Pool will close to the public from 9.30am to 12pm, for a Department of Education Program

• The Warm Water Pool will remain open from 6am to 2pm

• All lessons, and scheduled programs including Aqua Aerobics will continue as normal

Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
