Ballina Shire Council is currently attending to a water main break in Moon Street near Holden Lane in Ballina.
This break is affecting water services to residents and businesses on Tamar Street, between Grant and Moon Streets, and on Moon Street, between Tamar and Crane Streets.
A road closure is in place on Moon Street, between Tamar and Crane Streets. The Holden Lane exit to Moon Street is also closed.
Council's Water and Wastewater team are in the process of resolving the issue and will provide an update once more information is known. Council anticipates the water service to be returned to these areas within a few hours.
