Our crew detected the failure of a water main late this afternoon in Kendall. Upon detecting the issue, staff were immediately on site to begin repairs.
The unplanned outage is currently impacting residents connected to the Kendall Reservoir, and some properties may be without water until we can reroute supply from other zones.
This work is expected to be completed shortly and water will be restored to the impacted properties, while the main is being attended to.
While this is in motion, tankers are also on route to fill the reservoir, but residents in the Kendall area are advised to reduce their use, and conserve supplies until the main is once again operational.
As the repairs are currently in early stages, we don't have a timeline for completed works at this stage.
