Indooroopilly Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a man with 18 offences after police received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Indooroopilly on 9 August.
At approximately 2.30pm, patrolling police located a man inside a 2004 gold Mercedes with fake plates parked at a Stamford Road address.
A search of the man and vehicle resulted in the location of three firearms (airsoft shot gun, modified revolver, and homemade pistol), two knives, ammunition, a small quantity of methamphetamine, cannabis, gamma hydroxybutyric acid, a glass pipe, and a variety of stolen property (registration plate, clothing, and a skateboard).



A 27-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with three counts each of stealing and possessing dangerous drugs, two counts unlawful possession of weapons category A and H, and one count each of serious assault police officer, authority required to possess explosives, unlawful possession of a knife in a public place, possess pipes that had been used, possess tainted property, using vehicle for which a number plate attached recorded as stolen, drive uninsured vehicle, vehicles used on the roads must be registered, driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence disqualified and receiving tainted property.
He was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on 10 September.
