Griffith's rich Italian heritage will take centre stage once again as A Taste of Italy Griffith returns from August 25 to 31 2025, offering a week-long celebration of Italian food, wine, music, and traditions.
Now a staple in the Griffith's cultural calendar, A Taste of Italy Griffith showcases more than 20 events and experiences that are held at various locations throughout the Griffith region. Ranging from wine tastings and pasta-making classes, to cooking demonstrations, a market and even a lively Italian Discoteca.
Local wineries are showcasing their creativity with unique Italian-inspired offerings, including Sorseggia e Asseggia at Calabria Family Wines - pairing Italian-style wines with antipasto - or Taste of Italy Fiesta' at Yarran where you can enjoy wines with their homemade woodfired puffed bread and burrata.
For those who enjoy hands-on experiences, highlights include the Zecca Hand-Rolled Pasta Demonstration and Lunch, the Blend, Sip & Taste wine blending workshop at Berton Vineyards, or the Blend, Sip & Taste wine blending class with Bella Vita Tours.
New to the festival this year is Makers in the Piazza, a family-friendly Italian market taking place on Thursday afternoon in Kooyoo Street. Meanwhile, The Macchina Car & Bike Show at Berton Vineyards offers a relaxed, picnic-style event on Sunday. And tickets are still available for De Bortoli Wines long lunch, La Tavola Lunga, on Sunday as well.
Evenings bring the festival to life: on Friday night, Piccolo Family Farm will host Limone Dining's Musica dal Vivo, while Saturday offers a choice between Zecca's Aperitivo Night and the energetic Discoteca Italiana at Meditrina Beverages-a DJ-led celebration of spritzes, beats, and Italian disco vibes.
