We're Coming To Towns And Villages Across MidCoast

MidCoast Council will hold a series of community conversations from October to December, giving residents the opportunity to hear updates, ask questions and talk directly with Council representatives on their own patch.

A group of Councillors and senior Council staff will visit 13 locations, from Harrington in the north to Hawks Nest in the south. Every MidCoast resident is welcome to attend the conversation most conveniently located for them.

The Conversations will update the community on local works in their area as well as major works and programs across the MidCoast, including Food Organics Garden Organics, our progress with water security, and much more.

The Conversations will also cover progress with flood recovery, including an update on The Bight and Tiri bridge reconstruction, and what's happening with landslips, other bridges, sealed and unsealed roads.

Other topics may include local development, strategic planning and other Council activities that interest the community.

MidCoast General Manager Adrian Panuccio encouraged residents to attend if possible.

"Community Conversations are one important way we get out into the community. It's a chance to give you an update, hear from you directly, and respond to your questions.

"Everyone is welcome, and community group representatives are encouraged to attend."

Each conversation will run for about one to one-and-a-half hours, depending on the number of questions from the community. There is no obligation to stay for the full session.
