- Tickets are now on sale to the West Australian Opera at the Valley of the Giants
West Australian Opera will return to the Valley of the Giants this December after its highly acclaimed performance in 2017. This year will mark the inaugural 'Concert for Conservation' theme with part proceeds committed to a local conservation outcome.
Performers Paul O'Neill, Mark Alderson, Ashlyn Timms and Katja Webb will be accompanied by Tommaso Pollio, the musical director for this event who has put together a spectacular program of well-known Puccini, Verdi and Mozart.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions encourages concertgoers to take advantage of a free courtesy bus leaving from Denmark to Walpole to avoid traffic and parking congestion.
The trees on the drive in to the opera will also be lit up in orange lighting to promote the McGowan Government's 16 Days in WA campaign to stop violence against women.
The concert will be held on December 1, 2018 with gates opening at 5pm for a 7pm performance.
