Western Australia coronovirus update as at 11 February 2021

The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 overnight, bringing the State's total to 910.

The positive case is a female aged in her 40s who travelled to Perth from overseas and is in hotel quarantine.

Yesterday 3,732 people were tested for COVID-19 across the State. At WA Health COVID clinics 686 presented for testing – 673 were assessed and swabbed.

WA Health is monitoring 8 active cases of COVID-19 – 893 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

To date, 19 cases of variant strains have been detected in Western Australia (15 B.1.1.7 strain and 4 B.1.351 strain).

A total of 818,788 tests have been processed throughout the State. Of those, 122,535 were from regional WA.
