Western Australia coronovirus update as at 14 January

The Department of Health has today reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State's total to 881.

The confirmed cases – a man in his 30s and a man in his 40s – returned to Perth from overseas and are both in hotel quarantine.

WA Health is monitoring 17 active cases and 855 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

There have been 678,687 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 106,911 were from regional WA.

Yesterday 2,127 people presented to WA Health-managed COVID clinics – 2,100 were assessed and swabbed.
