The Department of Health has reported two new cases of COVID-19 overnight.
The State's total number now stands at 984.
The first case was the case confirmed last yesterday, a female resident of WA who was a close contact of a case now in Victoria. She is in self-isolation and is assisting contact tracers with their work.
The second case is a female in hotel quarantine, who tested positive after returning from overseas travel.
WA Health is monitoring 29 active cases of COVID-19 and 946 people have recovered from the virus in WA.
To date, the WA Department of Health has administered 87,645 COVID-19 vaccinations, including 20,968 people who have received both doses. Yesterday, 2,253 people were vaccinated.

Yesterday, 2,716 presented at WA Health COVID clinics, with 2,591 assessed and 2,588 swabbed. In addition, 1,489 people were also tested at private pathology clinics.
There have been 999,110 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 137,622 were from regional WA.
To date, 62 cases of variant strains of concern have been detected in Western Australia – including 46 of the B.1.1.7 strain, 15 of the B.1.351 strain and one of the P1 variant (Brazilian variant).
