The Department of Health has today reported three new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State's total to 902.
The confirmed cases, two females and a male, aged between 8 and 59, are all linked to overseas travel and in hotel quarantine.
WA Health is monitoring 15 active cases and 878 people have recovered from the virus in WA.
Yesterday 797 people presented to WA COVID clinics – 786 were assessed and 784 swabbed.
To date 17 cases of variant strains have been detected (13 B.1.1.7 strain and 4 B.1.351 strain). Seven of these cases remain active in hotel quarantine.
