WA Health is reporting a total of 8,731 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 53,751 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 211 people with COVID-19 in hospital, seven in ICU.
Today's report also includes two historical deaths from preceding days, with one dating back to 27 March, which were reported to WA Health yesterday, a man in his 70s and a man in his 80s.
