Scientists have reviewed the growing body of research on the vital molecule NAD⁺ and its connection to ageing. The goal? To pave the way for healthy ageing as well as safe and effective treatments for for diseases like Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and even accelerated ageing diseases.

"When we review the various studies, it appears that augmenting NAD⁺ levels in individuals with deficiencies may be a promising approach to facilitate healthier ageing and treat or at least slow down the development of a range of diseases," says Associate Professor Evandro Fei Fang-Stavem.
