Mornington Peninsula Shire is committed to fostering this growth and has developed a draft Food Economy and Agroecology Strategy for your feedback.
In August 2020 we invited community members, Green Wedge landholders, primary producers, industry representatives, manufacturers, distributers, and contributors to this sector to provide their expert knowledge to help shape the Strategy.
The Food Economy and Agroecology Strategy will produce a five-year action plan to grow the economy. For the first-time the industry, climate and ecology will be considered together to create a long-term vision for the food and agricultural industry on the Mornington Peninsula.
