Police are investigating a house fire that occurred in White Gum Valley last night, 31 May 2017.
About 11:50pm, Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a report of a fire at a home on Hope Street, WA Police say.
No-one was inside the home at the time of the fire.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services extinguished the fire which caused extensive damage to the timber and fibro home.
At this time the fire is being treated as suspicious and Arson Squad investigators will attend the home today to determine the cause of the fire.
A man in his 30s is assisting police with their inquiries.
